Privacy Policy — ProofFrame
This Privacy Policy describes how ProofFrame (the “App”) handles information when you use it on your iPhone. The App is designed for local-first work-proof photos: your jobs, stamped photos, GPS coordinates, and addresses stay on your device unless you choose to share them another way.
Summary
- Job and photo data — including job names, stamped photos, GPS coordinates, and addresses — is stored locally on your device, not on PaprikaTech servers.
- We do not operate a cloud sync service that stores your jobs or photos on PaprikaTech systems.
- Location is used on your device to stamp latitude, longitude, a map thumbnail, and a reverse-geocoded address onto the photo.
- We use TelemetryDeck for limited, non-content analytics to improve the App — never your job names, GPS coordinates, addresses, or photo content.
- Subscriptions are processed through Apple and validated via RevenueCat as described below.
1. Information stored on your device
Jobs and library content
- Information you enter in the App — such as job names, job metadata, and stamp template choices — is stored locally using Apple’s on-device storage (including Application Support).
- PaprikaTech does not sync this content to PaprikaTech servers.
Photos
- Stamped photos you capture are saved in the App’s sandbox on your device (under Application Support).
- These files remain on your device unless you delete them, delete the job, or uninstall the App.
Location used for stamps
- When you allow location access, the App reads your current coordinates to compose the photo stamp (date, time, GPS, map thumbnail, and address).
- Reverse geocoding and map thumbnails are requested through Apple’s system services (Core Location and MapKit) so the stamp can show a street address and a small map.
- PaprikaTech does not receive or store your coordinates, addresses, or map images on its own servers.
2. What we do not collect or store
PaprikaTech does not maintain a server archive of your job content, including:
- Job names or work-order details
- GPS coordinates or street addresses
- Photos you capture or share
- Map thumbnails used on stamps
If you share a photo by the system share sheet, Messages, email, AirDrop, or another app, you control what leaves your device through those channels.
3. Information sent to third parties you use
Depending on how you use the App, the following services may apply:
- Apple (iOS, App Store, system permissions such as camera and location, plus reverse geocoding and MapKit snapshots used to build the stamp)
- RevenueCat — if you subscribe, RevenueCat processes subscription and purchase-related information to validate premium access. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
- TelemetryDeck (see Section 4)
4. Analytics (TelemetryDeck)
We use TelemetryDeck, which is designed with a privacy-first approach, to collect aggregated usage signals so we can understand how the App is used and improve stability and features.
TelemetryDeck may use an anonymous, per-install identifier to distinguish sessions (not your name or job content).
Typical examples of what we track (not an exhaustive list):
- App launched
- Camera opened
- Photo captured or stamp saved (template type and Pro status only — not the photo, GPS, or address)
- Job created (no job name)
- Share tapped
- Stamp template changed (template identifier only)
- Onboarding completed or skipped
- Paywall shown or purchase completed (source and product identifier only)
- Free-photo quota reached (counts only)
What we do not intend to send via TelemetryDeck:
- Job names
- GPS coordinates or street addresses
- Photo files or photo content
TelemetryDeck’s handling of data is also subject to TelemetryDeck’s privacy policy. We use this data for product improvement, not to sell your job or photo content.
5. Information you send to us voluntarily
If you contact support by email, you decide what to include. Support messages may contain device or app version details to help us troubleshoot. The in-app email template includes basic app and device details only — it never includes job names, GPS coordinates, addresses, or photo content. We use support correspondence only to respond and improve the product.
6. Permissions
The App may ask for permissions such as:
- Camera — to capture job photos with a timestamp and GPS stamp
- Location (When In Use) — to stamp latitude, longitude, and address onto photos
You can change many permissions in iOS Settings. Some features will not work without required permissions. Photos can still be captured if location is denied; the stamp may show that GPS or address is unavailable.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@PaprikaTech.io.
8. Security
We rely on Apple’s platform security and on-device storage to protect your job and photo data on your phone. No method of storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your device and any photos you share.
9. International users
If you use the App outside the United States, your information may be processed on your device and by third parties (such as Apple, RevenueCat, and TelemetryDeck) under their own policies and locations.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
